With the first two-week camp over, it was time for a quick clean up and changeover as we prepared for a new influx of campers. Campers took time to settle into their accommodations before dinner. Then, as ever, the ice was broken with a good karaoke session. After that, it was off to roast marsh mellows on a open fire, staying up late. So far this week campers have been canoeing, indoor climbing, and rappelling on the rappel tower. They’ve tried archery and airsoft, played dodgeball and badminton, been roller blading, painted team flags and played relay races, visited a farm and played with puppies… and that only takes us to the middle of the week!
After a busy day at the farm campers returned for some gym time, a swim and a great dinner, prepared by our awesome kitchen team. Then it was off to the firepit for some rest and relaxation before a game of manhunt.
Somewhere over there is a pot of gold!
