Robert Land Academy (RLA) is a residential boarding school based in Wellandport, Ontario. https://robertlandacademy.com/ The school has been in operation since 1978 and is justifiably proud of the achievements made over the years. The school offers first-rate facilities, so the obvious question was asked…what else can we do? After a bit of brainstorming, the decision was made to offer a summer camp. When you think about it, it makes perfect sense, the staff at RLA are highly qualified with years of experience supervising boys aged 10-18. They are not seasonal workers or volunteers, they are full-time employees, full of ideas and innovations, just the right ‘tools’ for a summer camp. Added to this, the RLA infrastructure and facilities have been purpose-built to house and accommodate boys that require access to a wide range of sports and activities. So….it really was an easy decision and as a result, the Niagara Adventure Camp was born!

So what makes Niagara Adventure Camp different? Well, as previously discussed, we are extremely fortunate to be able to utilize the staff and facilities of RLA. We feel that it is our vision and our intent that sets us apart. Our focus as you will hopefully see from the website is for boys to re-discover the lost art of simply playing outside. Whilst Covid has clearly compounded the issue, we feel that technology, namely cell phones, computers, Playstations and Xbox’s have to a degree replaced sports and activities. To a greater or lesser extent, I think we can all agree there is some truth to this. Here at the Niagara Adventure Camp, we are excited to re-introduce the fun and excitement of team sports, camping outside, canoeing down a river and much more.
