A Day at Niagara Adventure Camp
8:30
Breakfast and Adventure
At 8:30 the campers wake up to the smell of fresh breakfast cooking in the dinner hall. If campers are up early, we have a wide selection of board games and books available. They shower, get ready for the day and head over to eat a full breakfast.
9:00
Day Camper Dropoff
At 9:00 our Day Campers are dropped off at camp, just in time for breakfast!
9:30
Morning Activities
After breakfast, it is time for the first activity. Depending on the day, this could be a trip to Beamer Falls or Rockway Glen where we hike to the beautiful hidden waterfalls and climb through the river rocks. Alternatively, it could be a sports morning, which includes instruction from a staff member, team-building games, and finally a competitive all-camp game of the specific sport.
12:00
Breaktime!
The campers eat lunch around 12:00. Again, they are served a full and delicious meal.
12:30
The Adventure Continues
By 12:30 we are up and ready to go again. The afternoon could look like a string of races and team-building exercises, egg toss, balloon fights, slip and slides, or an off-campus trip to the local Wainfleet wetlands and beaches where the campers can jump off the high sitting rocks or lounge in the warm sand. If it is an excursion day, we might be canoeing along local rivers, fishing, exploring Safari Niagara, or any of our other fun activities!
5:00
Day Camper Departure
At 5:00 we say goodbye to our Day Campers
5:30
Time to Refuel!
By 5:30, the campers are exhausted after an active day and are ready for a big meal to fuel all the energy they burned throughout the day. After dinner, the campers are given around 45 minutes to shower, call or text loved ones while under staff supervision, as well as tidy up their belongings.
7:00
Candy and Campfires
It is tuck shop time! The tuck shop opens, and our campers can get their snacks for around the evening campfire. Before dark, our counsellors lead the campers in a final activity, such as archery, volleyball, or team-building. As the sun goes down and the moon comes up, the campers work with their leaders to make a fire perfect for roasting marshmallows, hotdogs, and to sing around. The evenings are filled with stories, laughter, songs, and campfire games.
9:30
Relax and Unwind
At about 9:30-10:00 the campers are brought back to their respective camp houses and go to sleep for the night.
More about the Summer Camp

Each day will start with a healthy and nutritious breakfast, prepared by our resident chefs. Campers will throughout the day have the opportunity to take part in up to four different activities with ample time allocated for a hearty lunch and a bit of relaxation. At the end of the day, all boys come together to share their evening meal and exchange stories about their day’s adventures!
